SCIENCE:  Mrs. Peterson

This week we finished up our density labs by finding the density of liquids and also determined the density of a candy bar (so we could see if size made a difference in the density of an object).  We also took the first of the elements on the 40 elements.  Students need 36 out of 40 correct.  With time and effort all students will be able to master these.  I will be available after school next week for extra studying help, if necessary.  Next week we will do a four day lab looking at chemical changes using new equipment including Bunsen burners.

Monday: Conclusions from Candy Bar lab/Bunsen Burner instruction

Tuesday – Thursday:  Chemical changes lab

Friday: Elements, Mixtures and Compounds.
